General Skilled Migration
The General Skilled Migration is a range of visa options that allows skilled workers who do not have an employer sponsoring them to live in Australia. These include options for skilled workers applying as an independent migrant as well as those sponsored by a relative, or nominated by a State or Territory government.

The General Skilled Migration covers the entry of highly skilled people whose education, skills and ready employability will contribute to the Australian economy. Points are awarded for age, skills, english ability and recent skilled work experience.
