Queensland benefits from Global Talent Visa Program

The advantages of the program are the fast processing times direct to permanent residency, no age restriction, and the freedom to settle anywhere in Australia. The program complements the Queensland State Nominated Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP), especially in the circumstance where a successful self-made entrepreneur is over the age of 55 years.

The Global Talent Visa Program, alongside the Business Innovation and Investment Program, will be flagship programs which will stimulate the post-COVID economic recovery through new innovative businesses and provide significant employment opportunities for Queenslanders in the coming years.

A further initiative under a Global Business and Talent Attraction Taskforce has also just been announced by the Department of Home Affairs to complement the above programs to create jobs by attracting business and talent to Australia.
